Pre-Apprenticeship for Highway Construction Trades



Considering a career in Highway Construction?
Consider the DOES/DDOT six - week Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program!
To qualify, applicants must be able to…
Pass basic Math and Reading at the 8th grade level
Attend mandatory physical Fitness training on Saturday
Lift and carry 40 lbs
Submit to and pass drug screening at orientation and random screenings thereafter.


Training will be held at:
The Transitional Employment Program
D.C. Department of Employment Services

Washington, DC 20020
Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sat. (training) 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.


The six - week training program begins October 11, 2010.
Selected participants will be paid.
Your application must be completed and submitted by September 17, 2010 to be considered.
